HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK:

This week's Highlight of the Week is Carl Simakoff's golden goal in the 93rd minute at Piedmont on Tuesday night that gave the Scots a 1-0 win.

USA SOUTH TOURNAMENT UPDATES:

- The women's soccer team is the No. 2 seed from the West and will face either No. 3 seed Piedmont or No. 6 seed Huntingdon on Saturday at Scotland Yard. Tentative start time is 3 p.m.

- The men's soccer team will have to wait to find out their opponent on Saturday as the USA South regular season ends on Wednesday. The Scots will be on the road for the quarterfinal match.

- The volleyball team clinched the No. 1 seed from the West with a 3-0 win at Maryville on Tuesday. The Lady Scots will host a USA South Tournament quarterfinal on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. inside Barnes PE Center. Covenant will also play host to a first round match between the No. 4 and 5 seed from the West on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m.

THIS WEEK:

- Cross Country: The teams will compete for conference titles on Saturday at the USA South Championships in Tallulah Falls, Ga. Races begin at 11 a.m.

- Men's Soccer: Covenant will open the USA South Tournament on Saturday on the road. Game time and opponent is to be determined.

- Women's Soccer: The Lady Scots will host a USA South Tournament quarterfinal on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Scotland Yard. Covenant will play the winner of No. 3 seed Piedmont and No. 6 seed Huntingdon.

- Volleyball: The Lady Scots conclude the regular season with three home matches. Covenant hosts Agnes Scott on Wednesday at 7 p.m., then host Wesleyan (12 p.m.) and Sewanee (4 p.m.) on Saturday.
